Sie studierte an der Kunstakademie in Düsseldorf. In den 1980er und 1990er Jahren war sie als freie Mitarbeiter bei der \u003cb\u003ePorzellanmanufaktur Rosenthal\u003c\/b\u003e tätig. Im Laufe ihres künstlerischen Lebens beschäftigte sie sich mit ostasiatischer Keramik und studierte Tuschemalerei bei Hu Chang und Kalligraphie bei Hisae Hussmann.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eFür Rosenthal entwarf Müller-Behrendt ausschließlich Dekore. \u003c\/b\u003eIhr bekanntestes Dekor sind die „Seerosen“ auf dem Service „Suomi“ des finnischen Designers Timo Sarpaneva. Sie dekorierte auch das Service „Century“ von Tapio Wirkkala mit dem Dekor „Blütentraum“ und das Service „Cupola“ von Mario Bellini mit dem gold-blauem „Fiorella“. Des Weiteren entstanden florale und auch bunte Dekore für diverse Vasen in Porzellan und Glas, u.a. „Tageslilie“, „Rauhreif“, „Wasserlilien“.\u003co:p\u003e\u003c\/o:p\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm;
